Technical Information: From the 1979 Brunswick sell sheet: Brunswick's winning combination for dining, cards or bumper pool. This traditional oak table seats four diners comfortably. The meticulously matched oak veneer top, bordered in solid oak, has a quality furniture finish that imparts a fine antique look ... the result of 17 separate finishing steps. The heavy oak turned pedestal base features richly detailed antique style legs with adjustable leg levelers to assure a level surface for bumper pool. A professional blend of wool/nylon billiard cloth covers the three ply or optional slate playfield bed. Centennial gum rubber cushions assure precise rebound. Wooden bumper posts are bolted in place and scoring holes are protected with a decorative liner. Bumper balls, two cues and chalk are included. The game table on the reverse side provides eight playing positions separated by oak dividers each with a chip well and cork lined beverage/ash tray receptacle. The playing surface and chip wells are covered with professional quality wool/nylon cloth. The octagonal table top reflects the warm spirit of matched oak veneer woodgrains and solid oak rim in a glowing lacquer base finish. Seventeen separate finishing steps provide a hand rubbed protective finish with the look of timeworn charm.
