Summary |
Technical Information: From the 2003 Brunswick Billiards Sell Sheet on the Manhattan: Boldly stepping into a new era, the cutting edge style of the Manhattan reflects the tenets of today's contemporary design combined with the craftsmanship and world-renowned playability that Brunswick is legendary for. Sophisticated and sleek, this dynamic table is an exciting addition to any contemporary room. Contemporary style honors current living and values. From the 1990s to today, interiors are functional, physically comfortable and environmentally conscious and versatile to suit the hurried individual's idiosyncratic tastes and needs of the moment. Bright, airy and uncluttered, the style embraces white walls, blonde woods, fresh colors, sensual textiles, clean-line furniture and materials that are natural, recyclable, or industrial such as glass and steel. The result: eclectic yet cozy retreats from rast-paced pressures. The sleek styling of the Manhattan heralds a new era in Brunswick tables. Stunning in its presence, the table features natural maple, stainless steel and ebon y wood diamond rail sights. Constructed of natural maple rails, stainless steel shields on the baseframe, and stainless steel legs with aircraft cables, the Manhattan is available in eight foot and nine foot models. Dennis Foley, designer of the Manhattan: Dennis has spend 30 years designing innovative products for Herman Miller, Inc., and others, and has designed the dynamic Brunswick Manhattan. Dennis' design credits include the Hannah stacking chair for izzydesign, the first personal computer incorporating disk drive technology and the first laptop computer at Zenith Data Systems.
