Technical Information: From the 1983 Brunswick Billiards Centennial sell sheet: Traditional Early American styling and select solid wood construction make Brunswick’s Centennial billiard table a welcome addition to any home. Rails, aprons, and legs are all constructed of solid wood, and feature a rich, distressed antique finish. Three-piece slate is matched and registered for a permanent level playing surface. PRO-LINE cloth and SUPER SPEED® cushions assure superior playability and consistency. Available in 8 and 9-foot sizes. Choose automatic returns or traditional pocket style. Finish: 9-step furniture finish to achieve a rich, distressed lasting finish. Legs & Aprons: Solid wood and handcrafted to represent the finest in furniture workmanship. Leg Brace: Solid wood leg braces for maximum rigidity. Base Frame: Box beam base frame extends to the extremities of the slate and beneath the rails for maximum support. Rails: Solid wood rails are supported by and bolted through the slate for maximum rigidity. Specially designed floating nut plate allows rail to be precisely positioned and permanently pulled down to the slate. Cushions: BRUNSWICK® SUPER SPEED® canvas-backed cushions are the standard of the industry, providing true ball rebound and roll. Sights: Brass finished rail sights have a maximum tolerance of 30/1000 of an inch for accurate play. Cloth: PRO-LINE wool/nylon blend resists wear and tear and assures superior playability. Pockets: All pocket openings are made to exacting industry standards. Decorative metal corner and side pocket caps are finished in English antique brass. Slate: Three-piece matched, registered slate provides a permanent level playing surface. Slate is precision-machined level to within 10/1000 of an inch.
