Summary |
Technical Information: From the 1993 Brunswick Billiards Hampton sell sheet: · Sleek, contemporary styling in a distinctive satin black that will fit in with any room décor and color scheme. · Superior playability and dependability are the hallmarks of the Brunswick Hampton. A tradition of quality since 1845 backs the Hampton. · Available in 7’ and 8’ pocket or gully models. · The Hampton features burn, stain, and scratch resistant rails supported by and bolted through the slate for maximum rigidity. · Three-piece, precision-machined ¾" thick slate provides a permanently level playing surface. · Machine nuts and bolts are used throughout to assure maximum strength and stability. Cloth: Billiard cloth is optional; however, Brunswick recommends a professional wool/nylon blend to assure excellent playability. Legs: Sturdy, contemporary styled legs are bolted to the base frame for strength and rigidity. Cabinetry: Base cabinetry construction is top grade 45#+ density composition board. It is purchased form one specific manufacturer who meets the rigid specifications demanded by Brunswick to assure that the construction material will withstand the test of time. Cushions: This table features Brunswick’s exclusive Centennial® cushions. These cushions are precision molded, canvas-backed and are extremely lively and accurate. Rails: Burn, stain, and scratch resistant rails are supported by and bolted through the slate for maximum rigidity. The floating nut plate design allows rail to be precisely positioned and permanently pulled down to the slate. Sights: Inlaid sights have a maximum tolerance to 30/1000 of an inch for accurate play. Base Frame: Base frame is composed of four cross support beams, two full-length side beams, and a center beam for lasting strength. Pockets: All pocket openings made to exacting industry standards. Slate: Three-piece precision ground slate provides a permanent level playing surface. Slate is precision-machined level to within 10/1000 of an inch and extends underneath the rails for consistent play. Machine nuts and bolts are used to assure maximum stability. |
