Technical Information: Available as a snooker table in 1984. From the 1981 Brunswick Billiards Eton sell sheet: The Eton, one of Brunswick's best values, features sleek, modern styling and superior durability. The mar and scratch-resistant rails have plated sights which serve a dual purpose. The specially designed machine bolts securely join the rails and playing surface, while doubling as attractive rail sights. Aprons, legs and end panels are covered with a rich, pecan woodgrain vinyl for lasting protection. The unique interlocking fasteners make assembly quick and easy. Three-piece matched and registered 3/4" full sized slate provides a permanent level playing surface. Centennial cushions are precision molded to provide true ball rebound and consistent playability. The wool/nylon blend cloth resists wear and tear. A non-slate bed is available on both the 7 and 8' models. Available in traditional pocket style or with automatic returns. 7' Non-slate version weighs: 240 pounds; 8' non-slate version weighs: 296 pounds. Rails: Mar and scratch-resistant rails are supported by and bolted through the playing surface for maximum rigidity. Sights: Specially designed plated machine bolts serve both as attractive rail sights while securely fastening and pulling down rails to the playing surface. Base frame: Base frame composed of four sturdy cross support beams and two full length side beams and a center beam for lasting strength. Legs: Sturdy contemporary styled reinforced legs are bolted to the base frame for strength and rigidity. Cushions: Centennial cushions are precision molded to assure maximum accuracy and consistent playability. Finish: Aprons, legs and end panels are covered with a rich pecan woodgrain vinyl for lasting protection. Slate: Three-piece, matched and registered 3/4" full sized slate provides a permanent level playing surface. Slate extends beneath the rails for consistent play and is precision machined level to within 10/1000ths of an inch. Non-slate bed also available. Cloth: Wood/nylon blend billiard cloth provides good playability and durability. Pockets: All pocket openings are made to exacting industry standards.
