Summary |
Technical Information: From the 1942 Brunswick Billiard Supplies catalog, page 20 Brunswick Ivorylene Pocket Balls are made to the most exacting billiard ball specifications in the world. Years of testing and research have made them the most uniform, most durable, most perfectly balanced pocket balls obtainable. Expensive dyes are actually cooked into the composition and will not fade or rub off under any condition. Ivorylene balls are as perfectly round as it is possible for modern science to make them, 99.87% perfect spheres. They are made to withstand more than 12,000 pounds of crushing pressure and will not chip or crack under the roughest kind of play. But the big thing about the Ivorylene balls -- something that piles up profit for you -- is ;the way they attract play. For Ivorylene balls roll, take English, draw and best of all, "click" like ivory. Yes, in actual performance they have earned the reputation of being "Ivory's only rival". When you give your player's Ivorylene Pocket Balls you give them the best that Money will buy. And it's real economy for you, too, because of their longer life and greater durability. Regular set consists of 15 2 1/4" balls numbered from 1 to 15, plus 1 Black or Blue diamond Cue Ball. Numbers are inlaid not painted.
