The Challenger is a pride and joy to the room owner who wants "class" at a reasonable price. Crackle varnished to a deep, rich maroon that gives extra durability as well as genuine lasting beauty. Contains every convenience feature for better play.

Matched accessories for the Challenger table:

Recessed table ball rack: Flush with the rail apron. Four perfectly grooved separate compartments hold 16 regulation pocket balls. Designed to give fingertip ease and efficiency. Optional in place of the Wall Ball Rack. Patent No. 113972.

Challenger wall ball rack: Matches table perfectly in style, appearance and quality. Five sturdy, perfectly grooved shelves. A perfect ensemble with other Challenger accessories. Finished in rich crackled maroon.

Challenger cue rack: Harmonizes with design of the Challenger Table. Handsomely styled, modernly finished, very sturdy. Three piece construction, easily assembled. Finished in typical Challenger crackled maroon.

Challenger snooker score board: Follows attractive color harmony, sturdy construction and typical design of The Challenger. Chrome plated sheet holder. Full size crayon rail below score sheets, grooved to hold pencils.

The Brunswick Challenger No. 243, with clean-cut design, chrome ornamented with baked-on maroon crackle finish, at a price that, even under present conditions, makes it the greatest table value in Brunswick history. Rosewood rail caps available.

Offered in 4x8 pocket style only; 4 1/2 x 9 and 5x10 sizes in carom, pocket and gully styles; also in 4 1/2 x 9 and 5 x 10 sizes for snooker. Matching cue rack, wall ball rack, snooker score board, recessed ball rack as optional equipment.

Challenger V offered in 1941; updated model; difference is metal pocket shields and bottom leg trim.
