Technical Information: From the 1979 Brunswick Consumer Division sell sheet: Brunswick's commitment to excellence in home recreation has combined function and style in this dining, card and bumper pool table. Carefully crafted from ample, this octagonal table provides gracious dinner seating for four and ample room for eight to play cards. Fine furniture workmanship is evident throughout. The pedestal design features four solid maple turned columns with concealed leg levelers that provide a level surface for bumper pool A professional blend of wool/nylon billiard cloth covers the three -ply or optional slate playfield bed. The protective finish of the lustrous maple veneer top with solid maple rim is achieved through 14 separate finishing steps. Expert glazing adds an antique character and hand rubbing enhances the grain depth and texture. The game table on the reverse side provides eight playing positions separated by maple dividers each with chip well and a cork lined beverage/ash tray receptacle. Both the raised playing area and chip wells are covered with professional quality wool/nylon cloth. Centennial gum rubber cushions assure precise rebound. Wooden bumper posts are bolted in place and scoring holes are protected by a decorative line. Bumper balls, two cues and chalk are included.
