Summary |
Technical Information: From the 2002 Avalon Sell Sheet: With the presence and polish of fine furniture, the classically styled Avalon is a captivating table that plays like a champion. Attractive color and leg options coordinate beautifully with your home. The Avalon's traditional style is based on 17th and 18th Century interpretations of the design and architecture of ancient Greece and Rome. Displaying restraint, harmony, proportion and reason, the grand Greco-Roman style uses sparse ornamentation, chaining, beaded moldings, and large turned posts. Using hardwoods such as cherry and oak, traditional furniture represented the art of rich ancient cultures that flourished long before the Dark Ages, and was the basis of pre-industrial European style. Design: Designed to coordinate beautifully with any home decor, the Avalon can be finished in medium oak, traditional cherry, honey or Original Mahogany. Legs with intricate knee carvings in ball and claw, Queen Anne,,, or ram's head style options. Constructed of solid ash, the Avalon features pearlized diamond shaped rail sights and is available in eight and nine foot models. Performance: The Avalon table presents faithful design aesthetics in the context of supreme engineering and superb performance and playability-hallmarks of the Brunswick nameplate. This table features Brunswick’s exclusive SuperSpeed® Cushions for extremely accurate rebound angles, Brunswick-certified premium slate, and High Performance Nut Plate construction for lasting stability. As a result, balls play truer on Brunswick tables than on any other make. Backed by a Lifetime Limited Warranty. 2000 Material Specifications, Oak Finish: Rails: Ash over poplar Aprons, legs, base frame: Ash Sights: Pearlized High performance nut plates: Yes 2000 Material Specifications: Traditional cherry or honey finishes: Rails: Maple over poplar Legs: Maple or poplar Aprons, base frame: poplar High performance nut plates: yes 2003 Material Specifications: Original mahogany finish Rails: Maple over poplar Aprons and base frame: Poplar Legs: Poplar or maple Sights: Pearlized High performance nut plates Estimated Suggested MSRP Pricing (1" F slate unless noted) (P=Pocket model) Table Year 7' P 8' P 9' P Avalon 1998 3599 3699 4199 Avalon 1999 3649 3749 4249 Avalon 2000 3999 4499 Avalon 2001 3999 4499 Avalon 2002 3899 4399 Avalon 2003 3899 4399 Avalon 2004 3899 4399 Avalon 2005 3949 4449 Avalon 2006 3399 3899 |
