Summary |
Technical Information: Technical Information: From the 2002 Brunswick Billiards Artisan sell sheet: The Artisan table was inspired by the famous turn-of-the-century Arts & Crafts Furniture Movement. Frank Lloyd Wright, among it’s leaders, guided the return to strong, handcrafted, beautifully simple design. The distinct, flared legs anchor this solid ash table in any room setting. The Arts and Crafts movement originated in London in 1888, inspired by the pre-industrial rural design style of William Morris. Arts & Crafts is known for honesty of expression in workmanship and materials. Tables in the Arts & Crafts style are true to their inspiration: simplicity, honesty and utility. They favor pure lines over baroque ornamentation and lighter stains to accentuate the beauty of the wood grain. DESIGN Billiards tables are designed to be played on and looked at-even admired. Pride in craftsmanship has never been more apparent than during the Arts & Crafts Movement. Brunswick enthusiastically carries on this tradition. Like the popular Mission table design, every detail of the Artisan has been carefully crafted and constructed. Its distinct horizontal and vertical lines blend easily into any room décor. From the beautiful Mission Oak finish featuring flyspecking and cow tailing to the mother-of-pearl diamond sights, this table is something you can be proud of. The Artisan is available in eight and nine foot models. PERFORMANCE The Artisan table presents faithful design aesthetics in the context of supreme engineering and superb performance and playability-hallmarks of the Brunswick nameplate. The table features Brunswick’s exclusive SuperSpeed® Cushions for extremely accurate rebound angles, patented Cross Bolt construction, Brunswick-certified premium slate, and High Performance Nut Plate construction for lasting stability. As a result, balls play truer on Brunswick tables than on any other make.
