Technical Information: Technical Information: From the 1995 Brunswick Billiards Jewel sell sheet. · Replica of original Jewel table manufactured by Brunswick between 1894-1900. Production was limited to 75 units. · Produced in rich mahogany and available in 9’ size only. · Rails are mounted through the slate. Constructed of ironwood (a close relative of rosewood) rail caps with genuine ivory sights and a brass replica of the original nameplate. Aprons include brass rosette replicas and solid brass chalk holders. · Brunswick’s exclusive Super Speed® cushions are recognized the world over for superior rebound, accuracy, and consistency. · The majority of the sturdy base frame and legs are constructed if mahogany. Moldings are a combination of mahogany and maple. Base frame components are stained and sealed at the factory for maximum stability. · Machine nuts and bolts are used throughout to allow repeated disassembly and reassembly yet retain the table’s original rigidity and stability. · Bridge and triangle hooks are replicas made of solid brass. |
