Summary |
Technical Information: From the 2005 Brunswick Billiards Kendrick Sell Sheet: Inspired by the aristocratic elegance of European style tables from the 1800's, the Kendrick features clean, masculine lines and a rich, deep chestnut finish befitting its stately character. These dignified and sophisticated details make the Kendrick a refined addition to any room. The European style draws from English and Continental influences spanning the 16th through 19th centuries, encompassing Regency, Georgian, Louis XIV and others. The Revival of European styling resulted from growing middle class affluence during the 1920s, when people expressed interest in regal "old world" furniture. The European tradition exemplifies stately, aristocratic elegance, cerebrating organic patterns and complex wood grains. Aristocratic elegance, the hallmark of Brunswick's European style inlaid tables, is interpreted for the contemporary home with the Kendrick. the straight, masculine lines of the aprons and classical tapered legs provide a timeless design sensibility, while the hand-inlaid ebony, zebrawood and poplar burl veneers and traditional dental molding are as finely crafted as those first produced by Brunswick in 1870. A rich, deep chestnut finish reflects the latest in today's furniture trends and perfectly suits this table's stately character. Dignified and sophisticated, the Kendrick is a refined addition to any room. Inlay materials: moving from the center whitish field outward is Poplar, thin black border of Ebony, then a thin strip of Maple, then Zebrawood, then thin strip of Maple again, Ebony again, then Sapele.
